Salvation Army Bell Ringers

For many years, Trinity members have reached out through the Salvation Army to help those local individuals and families most in need. Please volunteer again this year to ring the bells between Thanksgiving and Christmas. You will be making It so easy for many generous shoppers to add their support of these efforts by their contributions into the kettles.

Vesting the Church

Vesting the church is one of the outward and visible signs of our sacramental life together, each season and each color representing the fullness of God’s presence in our midst.  For over 20 years we have enjoyed the white set of vestments we currently use.  These vestments have been used at funerals and weddings; they have been used for baptisms and special days and seasons like Christmas and Easter. They are the vestments which represent the fullness of God’s joy at the celebrations of life we share.

Advent Giving Tree

On the first two Sundays of Advent, Trinity continues our tradition of having an Advent Giving Tree shining with ornaments at the South Porch Cathedral entrance. Tree ornaments will have a gift tag suggesting a particular gift for you to provide for St. Lawrence Place residents or W.A, Perry Middle School. Keep the ornament, and return your gift by Monday, December 12th. On weekdays the tree will be in the Welcome Center.

Reading Matters Accepting New Volunteers

Reading Matters is accepting new volunteers for next semester! Tutoring will begin the week of January 23, 2017 and will end May 5, 2017. Tutors are asked to commit one hour a week for the school year.
