Children’s Ministry

Children’s Ministry at Trinity Cathedral provides programs and opportunities for all children to study the Scriptures, history and heritage of Christianity and the Episcopal Church. We are also challenged and encouraged to serve others – to give of our heart, our time, and our treasures. We also strive to provide offerings for children not just on Sundays, but on weekdays, and through special events that mark the church seasons. In addition to the study of the Scriptures, the church school curriculum offers the experience of what it means to be a part of a Christian faith community.

What to expect on Sundays for children

Liturgy preparation is offered during the 9:00 a.m. service (10:00 a.m. during summer months). Please check your children in before the service begins to help facilitate a smooth transition. Children will be called forward for the Gospel reading and escorted out of the sanctuary for an age-appropriate worship experience. They will return after announcements.

Sunday School classes are offered in the Parish House during the 10:00 hour. Please follow signs to the Welcome Center. We will greet your family to help you get checked in and find the correct classrooms for your child(ren).
