College Ministries
Trinity Episcopal Cathedral is the University of South Carolina’s neighborhood church. Currently, students are active in daily Morning Prayer services in Seibels Chapel at 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, as well as the diverse Sunday worship offerings, with Eucharists at 7:45am, 9am, 11:15am, and 6 pm. Students also enjoy the reflective 4pm Evensong service, offered weekly. College students are welcome and participate in many of the Young Adults Married and Single (YAMS) programming, including dinners, theological discussion gatherings, outreach events, and community building.
Canterbury Columbia
In cooperation with the Diocese of Upper South Carolina and Columbia-area Episcopal churches, Trinity Cathedral supports the Canterbury Ministry—the Episcopal student ministry at the University of South Carolina. As part of the cooperative, Trinity provides space for the Canterbury Ministry to host its weekly meeting in the Trinity Center for Mission and Ministry (TCMM) at the corner of Marion and Gervais streets.
Canterbury meets every Thursday at Trinity from 6:30-8 pm for dinner, a program, and worship. Join us every Thursday mornings at the Local Buzz on Rosewood Drive for “Coffee and Community.” Come join us!
Also, join us for brunch on Sundays after the 11:15 am Cathedral service. Just meet outside the front door towards the Cathedral lawn. Everyone is welcome!
